Thomas Leon Rayam (born January 3, 1968) is an American former professionalfootballoffensive lineman who played in theNational Football League (NFL) andCanadian Football League (CFL). He was selected by theWashington Redskins in the tenth round of the1990 NFL draft.[1] He playedcollege football for theAlabama Crimson Tide, and is remembered for blockingPenn State's last-second field-goal attempt in a 17–16 Alabama win in 1989.[2]

His older brotherHardy Rayam played for theNotre Dame Fighting Irish under coachDan Devine.[3] Thomas' sonT.J. Rayam also plays in the CFL.[4]
