Thomas P. Powell (16 April 1892 – 20 June 1971) was an Irish politician. A national schoolteacher, he was first elected toDáil Éireann as aFianna FáilTeachta Dála (TD) for theGalway constituency at theJune 1927 general election.[1] He was re-elected at theSeptember 1927 and1932 general elections.[2] He lost his seat at the1933 general election.[2] He stood unsuccessfully as an independent candidate at the1961 general election for theGalway West constituency.[2]
