Thomas O'Hara (20 July 1911 – 5 April 1984) was an Irish politician, merchant and auctioneer.He first stood for election toDáil Éireann at the1943 general election, as anIndependent candidate for theMayo North constituency, but was not elected. He also unsuccessfully contested the1944 general election. He was elected to Dáil Éireann at the1951 general election as aClann na TalmhanTeachta Dála (TD) for Mayo North.[1] He was re-elected at the1954 general election, but lost his seat at the1957 general election.
He unsuccessfully contested the1961 general election, but was elected as aFine Gael TD at the1965 general election.[2] He was re-elected at the1969 general election for the newMayo East constituency, but lost his seat at the1973 general election.
