Thomas Hodgson (priest)

Anglican priest and Archdeacon of Huntingdon

Thomas Hodgson was a priest of theChurch of England. He was theArchdeacon ofHuntingdon from 1915 to 1921.

Hodgson was educated atDurham University[1] andordained in 1878. At Durham, Hodgson was a member ofHatfield Hall and won university prizes in both Theology andHebrew.[2] His first post was as acurate at St Andrew,Bishop Auckland after which he was anassistant master at St George's School,Brampton and thenHead Master atHuntingdon Grammar School. He wasRector ofEynesbury from 1890 until 1912 when he becameVicar ofSt Neots.[3]

He died on 28 September 1921.[4]
