Thermal vacuum chamber

Athermal vacuum chamber (TVAC) is avacuum chamber in which theradiative thermal environment is controlled.

Typically the thermal environment is achieved by passingliquids orfluids through thermal shrouds for coldtemperatures or through the application of thermallamps for hightemperatures.

Thermal vacuum chambers are frequently used for testingspacecraft or parts thereof under a simulatedspace environment.
