Skipper Todd is a ne'er-do-well who spends his time wanting to be a rock star and playing mentor to the local high school crowd while sponging off of his mother. He is also the chief suspect in the disappearance of a local girl. After befriending naive Billy Roy, Todd sets his sights on Roberta.
The film was released theatrically in the United States byNational General Pictures on October 20, 1971, butWarner Bros. bought the studio in 1969.
The film was released on VHS byWarner Home Video in 1993. It was released on DVD in 2010 via theWarner Archive on-demand service as anamorphic 2:35:1.[1]
