The Tempest, also known asThe Tempest (Prospero and Miranda), or simplyProspero and Miranda, is an outdoorbronze sculpture depictingProspero andMiranda fromWilliam Shakespeare'sThe Tempest byMilton Hebald, installed outsideDelacorte Theater in Manhattan'sCentral Park, in theU.S. state of New York. The work, which was donated byGeorge T. Delacorte, Jr. and unveiled in 1966, is a companion piece toRomeo and Juliet (1977).[1]
