The Saviour (Russian:Спас,romanizedSpas, also translated asSalvation orThe Redeemer) was a militantnationalist organization which claimed credit for the August2006 Moscow market bombing. Media reports indicate that the market, located nearCherkizovsky, was targeted due to its high volume ofCentral Asian andCaucasian clientele.[1][2]
