The Fresh Pot operates two coffee shops inPortland, Oregon . The original location is on Mississippi Avenue in thenorth Portland part of theBoise neighborhood and another operates onHawthorne Boulevard insoutheast Portland 'sSunnyside neighborhood. In addition to coffee drinks, the business servesmatcha drinks.[ 1]
The Fresh Pot was established in 1997 and was among the first wholesalers ofStumptown Coffee Roasters .[ 2] Matthew Vinci is a co-owner.[ 3] [ 4] [ 5]
The Mississippi Avenue location, which operates in remolded former drug store and soda fountain at the intersection with North Shaver Street,[ 6] opened in 2002.[ 7] The interior has original bar stools.[ 8]
The location in southeast Portland has operated in the Hawthorne location ofPowell's Books .[ 9] [ 10]
In late 2010, Vinci announced plans to open a third location in theMorgan Building indowntown Portland .[ 11] [ 12]
