The Animation Picture Company, formerly known asHammerhead Studios, is an American animation studio based inSherman Oaks, California.[1]
The company was founded in late 2006 by Dan Chuba,John Davis,[2]Mark A.Z. Dippé,[3] Brian Manis, and Ash Shah.[4] In 2011, the company acquiredE. L. Katz'sZombie Pet Shop screenplay and developed it into a 3D animated feature film.[5][6] In 2012, the firm collaborated with SC Films to produceFlying South.[7]
