Thalpius (mythology)

InGreek mythology,Thalpius (Ancient Greek: Θάλπιος means "warmth, heat") was one of theEpeian leaders during theTrojan War along with his cousinAmphimachus.[1]

Family

Thalpius was the son of theMolionid Eurytus[2] andTheraephone, daughter of KingDexamenus ofOlenus.[3]

Mythology

As one of theSuitors of Helen[4] and theAchaean Leaders, Thalpius went toTroy leading 20 ships along with Amphimachus.[5] He was also counted among those warriors who hid inside theWooden Horse.[6]
