Thadée Cisowski (16 February 1927 – 24 February 2005), originallyTadeusz Cisowski, was a Frenchfootballer who played as astriker. Born in Poland, he was regarded one of the best goalscorers inChampionnat de France.
In theWorld Cup qualifying match againstBelgium in 1956, he scored five goals, equaling theFrance record set byEugène Maës in 1913.[2]Injuries prevented him from playing in the1954 and1958 World Cups.[3]
