District 23 is a district in the Texas House of Representatives. It was created in the3rd legislature (1849–1851).[1]
The district encompasses all ofChambers County, and nearly half ofHarris County. It also includes the cities ofMont Belvieu,Galveston, nearly the entirety ofTexas City, and theBolivar Peninsula.[2]
