Tetrahydropyridinylpyrrolopyridine

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Tetrahydropyridinylpyrrolopyridines are a group ofpyrrolopyridine andtetrahydropyridinederivatives related to thetryptamines. They are not tryptamines themselves, as they feature a pyrrolopyridine instead ofindolering system. The compounds include(R)-69,(R)-70, andCP-94253. They are known to act asserotonin receptor agonists, including of theserotonin5-HT1 and/or5-HT2 receptors.[1][2] Some tetrahydropyridinylpyrrolopyridines, such as (R)-69 and (R)-70, were discovered byBryan L. Roth and colleagues viaultra-large-scale docking.[2]
