Tertatolol (Artex,Artexal,Prenalex) is amedication in the class ofbeta blockers, used in the treatment ofhigh blood pressure. It was discovered by the French pharmaceutical companyServier and is marketed inEurope.[1]

Tertatolol has also been shown to act as aserotonin5-HT1A and5-HT1B receptorantagonist, similarly topropranolol andpindolol.[2][3][4]
