AsP300/CBP does not directly bind DNA, by definition it is not a transcription factor. Instead, it is properly classified as atranscription coregulator or more specifically acoacivator. Therefore I think P300/CBP should be removed from the Transcription factors nav box. I have created a new Nav boxTemplate:Transcription coregulators which includes P300/CBP. But it doesn't as yet contain enough links to existing Wiki pages to be worthwhile. I will work on creating some new pages.Boghog216:33, 24 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, hasB3 DNA-binding domain be placed in this Transcription factors template?Redeemer079 (talk)17:25, 23 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. It seems very reasonable to put domainsAp2,B3 in one 0.5 group. As far as I know, transcription factor RAV1 contains both of them.Redeemer079 (talk)18:57, 23 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
