potential streets

[edit]
fr:Modèle:Palette Rues de Montréal shows many more streets, a great source for translations to fill in the above sugestions.Peter HornUser talk02:20, 27 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Why add redlinks?

[edit]

I see no value in filling up the streets template with redlinks to non-existent articles. A template should not be a to-do list. Suggest we wait until the articles have been created andthen add them.Shawn in Montreal16:09, 31 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sherbrooke Street

[edit]

For now, it's a redirect to theQuebec Route 138 article since it forms part of the route for practically its entire length...Ranma961704:08, 26 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It exists as an article now132.205.99.122 (talk)00:23, 7 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

MTLskyline's proposals

[edit]

I'm generally fine with the proposed redlinks, as long as we remember that President Kennedy is but a short section of Ontario and there may be a case to be made for making Ontario the article name. Also, how do we list the notable Cote-Sainte-Catherine Road? It's neither east-west nor north-south, is it?Shawn in Montreal (talk)03:55, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

    • I turned the red links into stub articles. If there are any inaccuracies feel free to fix them. I also removed President Kennedy, Ontario can be added? Not sure what to do about Cote Sainte-Catherine, but I suppose Montrealers have a distorted view of geography so it'll fit in anywhere.MTLskyline (talk)05:19, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Could you please turn Bleury Street into a redirect to the existing Parc Avenue article and remove from the template? They are, of course, the same street. The Bleury name change south of Sherbrooke is already referenced in the Parc article.Shawn in Montreal (talk)14:28, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Language?

[edit]

Why are the streets in English but the expressways in French? (Signs do show both languages:[1][2]) --NE221:49, 16 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion of Saint-Michel Boulevard (Montreal)

[edit]

@MTLskyline:
There is a movement afoot to deleteSaint-Michel Boulevard (Montreal) and to remove it from this template. SeeWikipedia:Articles for deletion/Saint-Michel Boulevard (Montreal).Peter HornUser talk21:42, 7 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
