Is{{Shinto2}} really a helpful choice of name for a sidebar template (vertically-alignednavigation (navbox)) ? I see{{Shinto}} is used to populate Shinto-related talk page headers yet as main focus of our work should be the article rather than the talk-page spaces, perhaps a rename is warranted ?
As{{Shinto2}} used by 9 pages, whilst{{Shinto}} used by over 300 pages, clearly use of article sidebar of{{Shinto}} with talk page of say{{Shinto header}} is not going to be convenient.
Therefore per what seems quite common usage of the metatemplate{{Religion}}[1] to use "-ism" form, perhaps this sidebar should be renamed to{{Shintoism}} ?David RubenTalk01:20, 30 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Wasbold, changed the link fromRitual_purification toMisogi, as its more relevant then the two lines in the prior page.NeilHynes (Talk)14:39, 15 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I propose we merge theTemplate:Japanese mythology sidebar to either here or the Japanese mythology and folklore template. They overlap quite a lot and we could slim down the number of sidebars.Bluealbion (talk)17:14, 22 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
