I request for the words "Archaic Era" be replaced with "Classical Era" due to the following reasons:1. Archaic denotes savagery and a backward notion of development. Historians, especially those who specialize in Philippine pre-colonial history, would know that this is simply untrue. Advance indigenous technologies and liberal societal thinking were present in that age, as evidenced by various accounts, both written by Filipino and foreign scholars, many from the United States.2. The term "archaic" is racist in its usage in this template. Such a term is not used when referring to the same period, or a period with similar advancement, in the template History of Europe and other similar templates, mostly Western.3. The usage of "archaic", as reference to the time-frame between 900 AD up to the time before colonization in the 16th century according to this template, is not used by the official cultural arm of the Philippine government as the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) instead uses the phrase "Classical era" or "Pre-colonial era". The NCCA is the foremost resource of official information about Philippine culture and arts. The National Historical Commission of the Philippines also supports the NCCA.
