@Sbaio: The link piping in the Retired Numbers section obfuscates the link target.WP:EASTEREGG says that we should "Keep piped links as transparent as possible". Therefore I unpiped these links, but wasreverted with the rationale "not used in any other NBA template", which does not address the point I made, nor does it consider the possibility that the other templates may also need to be changed. @Jameboy: I understand your concerns, but current format is used per consensus (I should have noted that in my edit summary). This was most recently discussed about five or six years ago. In my opinion, the "Retired numbers" section should be removed from these navboxes and I even proposed that in the past, but other editors were against the removal. –sbaio05:06, 7 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
