The sub-templates of present and past characters are in long-overdue need of an overhaul. There are many characters that are simply not included, so what we have at present is a random selection of past and present names. It would be quite daunting a job though to bring it up to date, hence probably why it has not been done. But anyone willing to devote a bit of time to it? Or maybe it would be easier to just scrap those templates which would mean not having to try and keep them in sync with the article lists of characters in the future? In fact, yes, I propose scrapping the ability to collapse the 'present and future characters' and 'past characters' tabs and that will let people just continue to link to those lists and also the yearly ones, whilst not being able to see the messy random selection on the template.Nocrowx (talk)23:36, 1 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
