Who is responsible for the tier ratings?—Precedingunsigned comment added by112.118.162.94 (talk)17:33, 9 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

"South Central"

[edit]

This officially designated region doesn't cover the two special administrative regions.14.0.208.40 (talk)23:59, 29 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

"Major"

[edit]

Apparently, "major" airports are in bold. Who defines which airports are major?bobrayner (talk)18:57, 6 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

To undothis edit, unless there is consensus to include them. The airports in question are regulated by the respective territorial governments, not by the authorities in Beijing.219.76.24.215 (talk)08:28, 28 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Edit has been undone but this is not appropriate as an edit request in my opinion. If you're going to go to the bother of making an edit request, please just ping the editors involved instead of asking people to revert on your behalf, then content disputes would probably be resolved much easier... --Ferien(talk)14:04, 4 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Right. But this user doesn't seem to be interested in talking. Anyways thank you, Ferien.219.76.24.197 (talk)13:16, 6 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Meanwhile Hong Kong and Macau shouldn't be included.219.76.24.197 (talk)13:17, 6 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Add groups for the Hong Kong and Macau SARs within the South Central list. Move Hong Kong International Airport from Guangdong (which is incorrect) to Hong Kong, and add Macau International Airport to Macau.2601:600:A401:FAC0:1C28:1F93:AAC8:3B9 (talk)03:58, 18 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Done Thanks for pointing this out. Hong Kong was a recent addition to this template, and the editor who added it placed it in the wrong section. However, looking at the edit history, whether to include Hong Kong and Macau at all seems to be controversial because they are not regulated by theCivil Aviation Administration of China. Though, in my opinion, they should be included since they are still "in China" and are also included inList of airports in China.Saucy[talkcontribs]11:21, 22 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
