I have included theThorpe affair is see also as it was being widely reported in the run-up to the election and there was considerable concern about the impact it would have on the Liberal Party (and in the end almost certainly was a key cause in Thorpe losing North Devon after nearly 20 years as its MP).Dunarc (talk)21:01, 1 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
