Insert{{web colors}} at the bottom of each page in which standard colors are defined. These sixteen named colors are defined in theCSS specification;HTML 4.01 also defines the same set of named colors, with the exception oforange. For more info, seeweb colors.
{{web colors}} for simple cases{{web colors|colour}} to use the spelling "colour" instead of "color"This template takes one unnamed parameter: the usage{{web colors|colour}} can be used for pages where the "colour" spelling is standard. If not used, the "color" spelling is default.
Note that there is no way to get the spelling "grey" instead of "gray".
This template'sinitial visibility currently defaults toautocollapse, meaning that if there is another collapsible item on the page (anavbox, sidebar, ortable with the collapsible attribute), it is hidden apart from its title bar; if not, it is fully visible.
To change this template's initial visibility, the|state=parameter may be used:
{{Web colors|state=collapsed}} will show the template collapsed, i.e. hidden apart from its title bar.{{Web colors|state=expanded}} will show the template expanded, i.e. fully visible.
