{{User-generated inline|date=October 2025}}This is an inline template used to flag facts in an article as being cited to sources that user-generated content (e.g. other wikis,content farms, or user-editable databases like IMDb), and thus potentially unreliable, perWP:Identifying reliable sources#User-generated content (WP:Verifiability#Self-published sources andWP:Neutral point of view are also relevant, but the template's link to goes to that anchor at the reliable sources guideline).
This template will categorize tagged articles intoCategory:Accuracy disputes.
To flag citations themselves as being to such questionable sources, useTemplate:User-generated source, inside of<ref>...</ref>. For whole sections or articles, useTemplate:Self-published.
This template takes a compulsory parameter (which if not set by the editor will be set by a bot):
|date=date—in the format "Month Year" or "YYYY-MM-DD" etc.If there is concrete proof that the source is user-generated, you can use a parameter to remove the "?" from the template's output:

Places text after a citation to inform the reader that the source is user-generated.
