This is done as a courtesy to interested debate participants, and is arequirement. Instructions on template use are also available atWikipedia:Requested moves/Closing instructions.
A{{RMpmc}} variant is available for editors who have thepage mover user right. The link will go toWP:RMPMC rather thanWP:RMNAC, and the text will read "(closed by non-admin page mover)" instead of "(non-admin closure)". Alternatively, this template may be used by passing "pmc" as the first unnamed parameter:{{subst:RMnac|pmc}}.
