This template also takes an optional parameter that describes which section, if any, is to be expanded.All sections are expanded by default. Possible values are:
{{Linguistics|all}} to expand all sections{{Linguistics|Subfields}} to only expand the subfields list{{Linguistics|Grammar}} to only expand the grammatical theories list{{Linguistics|Topics}} to only expand the topics list{{Linguistics| }} to start with all lists collapsed (useful to save space on a page)
