Template usage notes

This maintenance templates is intended to attract editors with different viewpoints to edit articles that need additional insight.

This tag should only be applied to articles where globalperspectives are reasonably believed to exist (e.g., that people in China have a different view about an idea or situation than people in Germany or South Africa).
If additional reliable sources for a worldwide view cannot be found after a reasonable search, this tag may be removed.
This tag should not be used as abadge of shame or to complain abouthow to spell words, which measurement units to use, and similar questions of article presentation.
Please explain your concerns on the article's talk page andlink to the section title of the discussion you initiate. Otherwise, other editors may remove this tag without further notice.

Usage

Place this template following a section or statement which doesn't represent a global perspective. You should include the date in the format|date = February 2026. You may also include a region which is overrepresented using the first unnamed parameter. This changes the template text from^[globalize] to Region-centric (Example:^{[United States-centric]},^{[France-centric]}) and categorizes the page accordingly if the region has its own category.
