TheTell al-Rimah stela or theStele of Adad-nirari III is a victory stele ofAdad-nirari III which include a reference to an earlyking of Samaria as "Jehoash the Samarian"[1][2] the first cuneiform mention ofSamaria by that name.[3]

It was discovered in 1967 during excavations atTell al-Rimah and is today at theIraq Museum.[4]
