InGreek mythology,Telesto orTelestho (/tɪˈlɛst/;Ancient Greek: Τελεστώ means 'success') was anOceanid, one of the 3,000water-nymphs daughters ofTitansOceanus andTethys.[1] She was the personification of the divine blessing or success.[2]Hesiod describes her as "wearing a yellowpeplos".[3]

Namesake

Telesto, a moon ofSaturn, discovered in 1980 by Reitsema, Smith, Larson, and Fountain, is named for her.
