Telepace is anItaly-based broadcasting network that carriesRoman Catholic-themed programming. Established in 1979, the network also includes programming fromCentro Televisivo Vaticano. Its headquarters are in Cerna, afrazione ofSant'Anna d'Alfaedo, Italy, with branches inTrento,Agrigento,Lodi,Fátima, andJerusalem.
It broadcasts in Italy onDTT over variousmux, while it is availableFTA in theUnited States onGlorystar and Spiritcast, and inAustralia onUBI World TV. On satellite television, Telepace also broadcasts viaTV Syndication in Italy with over 50network affiliates.
Beginning in 2014, Telepace has been airing inhigh definition onEutelsat HotBird satellites and onSKY Italia andTivù Sat. The SD version was dropped from HotBird the same day. Up to now, native HD programs only occur during live telecasts fromVatican City distributed by theCentro Televisivo Vaticano, and during repeats of the above.
On 17 August 2021 the channel left satelliteHot Bird 13B and continues onOptus D2 at 152°East 12519 MHz V, Sr 22500 3/4 MPEG-2 SD.[1]
