The song opens with the theme from the 1972 filmThe Godfather, preceding atrap instrumental.[1] Future also references his line on "Bugatti" byAce Hood.[2]
Gabriel Bras Nevares ofHotNewHipHop remarked that the song "stuns with its in-and-out operatic samples (plus a dynamic vocal delivery)".[3] Paul A. Thompson ofPitchfork wrote that the song's "stretches" have "fine-watch precision" and "are meant to be purely percussive".[4]
