TheTeberan–Pawaian languages, orTua River languages, are afamily ofPapuan languages, established by Timothy Usher, that are spoken in the region of theTua River. They are theTeberan languages and theWiru andPawaia isolates.[1]Teberan and Pawaian had previously been linked, along with theEast Kutubuan languages, in Wurm's 1975 Trans-Murray branch of Trans–New Guinea.
