TheTaunton Daily Gazette (andTaunton Sunday Gazette) is adaily newspaper founded in 1848. Based inTaunton, Massachusetts, its coverage area also includesBerkley,Rehoboth,Dighton,Lakeville,Norton, andRaynham.
On December 1, 2006,Journal Register Company announced it would sell theGazette, along with theFall River Herald News, toGateHouse Media.[2] Since early 2007, theGazette has been published as part of GateHouse Media New England.
