Tauna Kay Vandeweghe (born February 7, 1960), also known by her married namesMrs. Tauna Mullarkey andMrs. Tauna Oshea, is an American former competitionswimmer who participated in the1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, Quebec. She competed in the100-meter backstroke and advanced to the semifinals of the event, recording a best time of 1:05.00 in the preliminary heats.[1] She won silver medals at the1975 World Aquatics Championships in the 4 × 100 meter medley relay and at the1983 Pan American Games involleyball.[2]

Vandeweghe is the daughter of NBA basketball playerErnie Vandeweghe and 1952 Miss AmericaColleen Kay Hutchins. Her brotherKiki Vandeweghe and uncleMel Hutchins also played NBA basketball, and both wereNBA All-Stars. With her first husband, she has a son, Beau, who playedvolleyball for thePepperdine Waves,[3] and two daughters,Coco Vandeweghe, a professional tennis player,[4] and Honnie Vandeweghe, a member of the US Women's National Water Polo Team.

Vandeweghe is a member ofthe Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.[5]
