History

Tau Films was founded in 2014 by John Hughes,[2] Mandeep Singh,[3] and Walt Jones.[1][4] In 2015, it was nominated forOutstanding Visual Effects in a Special Venue Project at the13th Visual Effects Society Awards for its work on theamusement park special venue-ride filmThe Lost Temple (Movie Park Germany).[5][6] It has since produced other special venue-ride films such asThe Forbidden Caves (Bobbejaanland)[7] andRacing Legends at Ferrari Land (PortAventura World:Ferrari Land).[8] It also createdDelusion: Lies Within (virtual realityepisodic storytelling).[9] Tau has worked on films such asEvil Nature (2018),[10]Baahubali: The Beginning (2015),[11][12][13][14][15]2.0 (2018),[16][17]Crazy Alien (2019),[18][19] the 2019Nicolas Cage filmPrimal,[20][21]Simon West'sSkyfire (2019),[22] and Li Weiran'sThe Yinyang Master (2021).[23][24]
