Tarwinia is an extinct genus ofstem-groupflea known from a single species,T. australis, from theEarly Cretaceous (Aptian)Koonwarra Fossil Bed ofVictoria, Australia, it is the only member of the familyTarwiniidae, and the only stem-group flea known from theSouthern Hemisphere.[1][2]
