Tartu railway station (Estonian:Tartu raudteejaam) is the main railway station inTartu,Estonia.

Tartu railway station is situated west of the centre Tartu. It was established in 1876 whenTapa–Tartu route was built.[2] The station building was opened in 1877.

Passenger trains are operated byElron and most services are towardsTallinn.[1][3][4] There are also services toValga[5] and toJõgeva,Orava,Koidula andPiusa.[1][6]

There are two platforms with the length of 260m and 330m.
