Tarsus İdman Yurdu is a Turkishsports club based inTarsus.
Founded in 1923, thefootball team plays at the Burhanettin Kocamaz Stadium, which has a capacity of 4,201.[1] They were named asTarsus İdman Yurdu Erkutspor between 1983 and 1986 during the chairmanship of Erkut Kuzeyman, who was also a businessman.
Adana Demirspor,Adanaspor andMersin İdman Yurdu are the rivals of Tarsus İY. The matches between these clubs are also referred to as theÇukurova derbies.
