Tanqa Tanqa (Aymara forbeetle,[1] Hispanicized spellingTanca Tanca, alsoTanka Tanka) orTanka Tanka (Aymaratanka hat orbiretta,[2] thereduplication indicates that there is a group of something, "many hats (or birettas)") is an archaeological site inPeru. It is located in thePuno Region,Chucuito Province,Zepita District.[3] The site was declared a National Cultural Heritage(Patrimonio Cultural) of Peru.[3]
