Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation is a state-governmentPublic Sector Undertaking of theGovernment of Tamil Nadu located in theIndian state ofTamil Nadu.[2] It is managed by theTourism,Culture and Religious Endowments Department and was established in July 1971.[3] It is the nodal agency responsible for the promotion oftourism and development of tourist related infrastructure in the state. TTDC has introduced a new fast-food kiosk brand called "Quick Bites" aimed at offering high-quality, convenient dining options at major tourist hotspots. Kovalam Blue Flag Beach, located approximately 40 km from Chennai, is the first in Tamil Nadu to receive the Blue Flag certification from Denmark, honoring its adherence to international standards of cleanliness, safety, and sustainable management. Overseen by TTDC, the beach features amenities such as designated swimming areas, outdoor fitness equipment, and play zones for children, along with activities like beach volleyball.
