Tallanstown (Irish:Baile an Tallúnaigh)[2] is a village inCounty Louth,Ireland. It lies on theR171Regional road and on the banks of theRiver Glyde, 11 km southwest ofDundalk. It was the winner of the 2010Tidy Towns competition.[3] The village is in atownland andcivil parish of the same name.[2]
