The history section has no history whatsoever, only a single sentence about an award from 2008. What we need is history about the station. Such as:
. When did the station first go on the air?. What was the station's original call sign?. What was the station's original format?. Etc., etc., etc. ...
I once saw a photo of WMMB's original 1,000-watt transmitter, which I believe was a Gates tube transmitter from the station's earlier days (possibly the 1950's). There was also an accompanying photo of a recording/performing studio located in the same building on Front Street (this building was recently demolished). If I can find these photos, I will post them here.
A section (or subsection) on the station's technical history would also be a good point to consider. The station currently uses a folded dipole or folded longwire for an antenna, suspended on (and insulated from) the station's tower. I already mentioned a previous tube transmitter once used by the station.
Can anyone help with this project?Erzahler (talk)01:23, 17 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
