Please change the text in the “AmericaFest” subsection of the “Annual Summits” section as follows.
After the sentence ending with "Riley Gaines, and Cenk Uygur.[88][20][89]" add the following sentence:
"The 2024 program featured policy discussions, youth-oriented sessions, and media panels. Exhibitors included student organizations, policy groups, and several higher-education institutions; Northwood University participated with an informational booth as part of the 2024 exhibitor expo.[citation needed]"
Not done: That source does not support your proposed addition. It only briefly mentions that Northwood University sent a delegation to AmericaFest without providing any other information about the event. It's also not clear to me how the participation of this particular university is relevant.Day Creature (talk)20:15, 4 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
The TPUSA article is too long for everything notable about it to be included, and Amfest is mentioned in multiple sources (not that this guarantees this deserves an article).
Tens of thousands of people attended the event, which I'm pretty sure makes it one of the biggest conservative coalitions in the US. Does it deserve its own article?Wikieditor662 (talk)03:40, 26 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Congrats on the new article! I hope I can provide some value to it and help with the expansion of content, but in my brief review it's off to a good start. Hopefully more seasoned editors will also take part in it.🥑GUACPOCALYPSE🥑20:04, 15 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
""Young ladies, young ladies, I like 'em underage see, Some say that's statutory (But I say it's mandatory)". We can probably just copy over the relevant section.Doug Wellertalk19:56, 9 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
I think the new attention to his lyrics might also be worth adding toAll-American Halftime Show. However, according to the playlist at that page, the song with those lyrics was apparently not performed at the event. Given that there are multiple well-sourced criticisms of Kid Rock and of the show, I think this may raiseWP:DUE concerns, and at the least it ought to be clarified that the song was not sung there. --Tryptofish (talk)00:13, 11 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, it should be made clear it wasn't sung there. I don't have much energy at the moment but may add a revised version to the AAHS article. Thanks for your comments.Doug Wellertalk10:06, 11 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Going to have to side with @Spiffy sperry's logic, I think this belongs over on Kid Rock's article for sure, maybe evenOsmosis Jones' article but definitely not TPUSA's article maybe and thats a big maybe it should be mentioned on the All-American halftime show article. Why would we start setting precedence to include contentious lyrics from performing artists songs not sung at relevant article events? Lets remove it from TPUSA article and move it over to AAHS and go from there.MaximusEditor (talk)14:33, 11 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
