There seems to be some disagreement in tense on the passage about the area around parliament. Most of it should be in the past tense since it has now been repealed.

Mr. Haw's protest has now been declared illegal by the Court of Appeal (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/4983780.stm), which I've noted in the relevant section. I added a current tag since there's likely to be a significant amount of commentary on this. I've made a note to come back and flesh out my edit in a week or so, if further developments are worth mentioning. -Ahruman10:13, 8 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Expert needed

[edit]

I think generally someone with legal expertise needs to tidy this up, but my main concern was the powers of arrest section. It was deeply misleading. I have changed it in accordance with the wording of the acts, but someone able to find good sources on this topic and the other provisions of the act is needed!Fences and windows (talk)01:03, 18 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sections 110 and 128

[edit]

Perhaps mentionSection 110?BigSteve (talk)17:48, 18 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Also need to mention section 128 which allows certain sites to be designated so that trespassing on them is a criminal offence. There is a link to this page from the page on “Chequers” with specific mention of section 128 so I am surprised it is not mentioned here.5.148.12.26 (talk)07:00, 7 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
