Could someone please change 2004 to 2003? It was changed to 2005 by an IP editor, while reverted it was changed "back" to 2004 instead of 2003.This is the last correct version. Even if 2004 was correct, it shouldn't say "two years", because the project started in 2001.35.136.190.243 (talk)03:33, 16 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

~2025-31347-06 (talk)02:04, 18 November 2025 (UTC) When the article states Loc Vu-Quoc's name, his name is linked to another Wikipedia page, but the Wikipedia page for Loc Vu-Quoc was either removed or hadn't existed in the first place, therefore the link is useless, and could potentially confusing to the reader.[reply]
"Some editors dedicate as much time to trolling (creating vandalism, spam, and harassment) as others do improving the encyclopedia" (link)
This sentence feels confusing to read.
Here's its literal meaning:
1) There are editors who spend a lot of time trolling.
2) There are other editors who spend a lot of time improving articles.
3) The amount of time some trolls spend is comparable to the amount of time some good-faith editors spend on constructive work.
It creates a false balance between two different categories:
- Trolling = destructive, against policy, reverted
- Improving = constructive, goal of Wikipedia
Furthermore, even if time spent is similar, impact is not. One adds value, the other subtracts it (and is quickly undone). So while the effort might be comparable, the role in the system is not. Presenting them as parallel activities misrepresents their actual significance.Aim551551551 (talk)04:21, 1 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
