Regarding "In computer science terms, programming in the large can refer to programming code that represents the high-level state transition logic of a system.[dubious – discuss] This logic encodes information such as when to wait for messages, when to send messages, when to compensate for failed non-ACID transactions, etc."

It may be a thing, but in 35 years of writing software, this is the first I've heard that use of "Programming in the large". It's always been about large scale systems and their needs, compared to smaller scale systems.82.17.135.170 (talk)12:15, 22 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
