Grammar fix?

[edit]

Incomplete sentence.

"A niece of US president-elect Donald Trump, she has been critical of him."199.45.206.94 (talk)00:05, 8 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Linda Lea Clapp

[edit]

I’m trying to find out what happened to Mary and her brother’s mother, Linda Clapp, who is referred to affectionately in their narratives, but seems to drop out of the story midway. I found an obituary for a Linda Lea Clapp who died in Marysville, CA in 2001. The one paragraph obit mentions that she was married to Frederick Crist Trump, Jr.2604:2D80:ED08:A00:F5CD:2555:4BAB:E0BA (talk)00:50, 2 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

This and other online listings conflate Linda L Trump aka Kisertrump (nee Sevier) of Marysville, who was born in 1948, with Linda L Clapp, Fred Trump Jr.’s ex wife and mother of Mary Trump, who was born in 1939. These are two completely different people who are unrelated. Per a Times of London correction of this error, as of 2021, Linda Clapp was still living.

Unclear sentence

[edit]

When a Trump sues a Trump, the following sentence is unclear: "Trump's lawyers responded that "[r]easonable diligence would not have uncovered the fraud" more than a decade earlier."Wikinetman (talk)07:34, 27 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
