Currently the article says the title of the series is "ルパン三世 L'avventura italiana", but it was never marketed this way. In Italy it is called "Lupin III - L'avventura italiana" and in Japan and on the series title card, it is called simply ルパン三世 (stylized in logos with LUPIN THE THIRD in English beneath). The home video title on VAP releases is "Lupin the Third Part IV" or, more completely, 「ルパン三世 LUPIN THE THIRD PART IV」. The international releases on Crunchyroll and such call it "Lupin the 3rd Part 4," but with a simple blue "Lupin the 3rd" logo and no "Part 4."
I would say the English name for the series is Lupin the Third Part IV (or 4, though IV is more consistent with how they wrote "Part III") but also known as Lupin the Third (ルパン三世) or Lupin III - L'avventura italiana, but I'm not sure how to phrase this and what to subtract such that it is accurate, and also stands up to Wikipedia standards.LupintheThird (talk)21:31, 1 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Discotek uses "Lupin the Third" for the US title, while TMS alternates between "3rd" and "Third," (looks like mostly "3rd.")
A good lead would beLupin the Third Part IV: The Italian Adventure, also known simply asLupin the 3rd Part IV (ルパン三世 PART IV,Rupan Sansei Pāto Fō). That gets the TMS and Discotek localizations and the Japanese title. The page would have to be moved/renamed but I think this is more accurate to how it's been released in the US.
After re-reviewing this, Discotek does use "3rd" for the TV shows and "Third" for the specials. Whoops! This can be disregarded.
