Nash was recently added to the list with 19 seasons.[1] However, he's only credited in sources with playing 18 seasons.[2], and this source before the start of 2015–16 season does not list him among the leaders with at least 19.[3] Nash retired in middle of 2014–15, but didn't play a game that season, so he's not credited with a season played. For a precedent, seeKevin Willis, whose career spanned 23 years (1984–2007), but is only credited in sources with 21 seasons played; he was injured all year in 1988–89, and was temporarily retired in 2005–06.—Bagumba (talk)18:55, 9 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Anonymous editors have persistently been making edits likethis, moving Haslem above Anthony and James. All three have 19 seasons, and started their careeers in the same year. Ties are generally sorted chronologically by year first achieved, and then alphabetically if the same year. That's how Howard and Kidd were also handled with 19. Please discuss and establishconsensus for any changes to this existing format. Thanks.—Bagumba (talk)15:21, 27 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
There is a move discussion in progress onTalk:National Basketball Association which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RMCD bot13:04, 28 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Under the categories of “NBA statistical leaders”, seasons, games, and minutes pages are listed under the Regular season section, but under the Playoffs section only games and minutes pages exist. Propose the creation of a page titled “List of most NBA career playoff seasons leaders” listed in the Playoffs section. Information for this page can be obtained from the website StatMuse under “Most Seasons with Playoffs by Players”[1] .2001:56A:F8EB:5700:8979:3198:662D:B735 (talk)04:37, 12 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
